PSL 10 Commentary Panel is announced
A star-studded commentary panel has been announced for the HBL PSL X, including former England Test captain Sir Alastair Cook.
A six-team tournament will conclude on May 18 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
A total of 34 matches will be played in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.
Mark Nicholas, a renowned voice in cricket commentary since retiring from competitive cricket in 1995, will join Cook. Nicholas also worked for SKY Sports in England and Channel 9 in Australia. In addition to Cook and Nicholas, Dominic Cork, Mark Butcher, and Jean-Paul Duminy and Mike Haysman from South Africa will participate in the panel discussion.
Athar Ali Khan will lead the Bangladeshi team, while Martin Guptill will represent New Zealand. Lisa Sthalekar, the two-time Australian winner of the ICC Women’s World Cup, will also speak at the event.
Commentators from Pakistan:
Pakistan’s commentary team will be led by former Test captains Aamir Sohail, Ramiz Raja, Waqar Younis, and Wasim Akram. As well as being ICC and PCB Hall of Famers, Waqar and Wasim are also members of the PCB Hall of Fame. Sikander Bakht, cricket analyst and former Pakistan women’s team captain Urooj Mumtaz will join them.
The HBL PSL will feature a full match broadcast in Urdu commentary for the first time. For selected segments, Pakistani commentators will join Ali Younis, Aqeel Samar, Marina Iqbal, Salman Butt, and Tariq Saeed on the Urdu commentary panel.
Erin Holland and Zainab Abbas will be presenters during the league matches.
