Fakhar Zaman Not in Full Rhythm Despite Match-Winning Performance Against Karachi Kings
Lahore Qalandars’ seasoned opener Fakhar Zaman says Zaman is not performing the best he can, despite after putting up match-winning performances during the current Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10.
The Southpaw hit a rousing score of 76 off just 47 balls in the match against Karachi Kings yesterday, an innings with five fours, six of which were the maximum. This led Lahore Qalandars to a convincing win.
Before this, Fakhar played a 67-run bowl at Quetta Gladiators. Fakhar was awarded two award for Player of the Match However, he feels that he’s still far from being at his best.

“In the match before I confessed that I couldn’t be at my best. If I repeat it now, I might come off as unworthy, but I think I’m still not in my maximum level yet.” Fakhar Zaman admitted during the post-match performance.
After returning to the field after an injury setback left-hander stressed the importance of assessing conditions in advance and forming alliances.

“The ball wasn’t coming onto the bat as easily, so we planned to build a steady opening stand and save wickets for the death overs,” said the player. “We thought 170 would be a good total, and full credit to our bowlers for defending it superbly.”
In terms of statistics, Fakhar Zaman remains a PSL heavyweight. The second highest run scorer for the club having scored 2,669 runs over more than 87 games at an average 31.03 and the strike rate was 141.06.
The total he has compiled includes 21 half-centuries, and the two century mark — figures that show his reliability over time.
