PSL 2025 Squad
From April 8 to May 19, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025, marking its 10th edition, will feature 34 T20 matches between six teams. PSL 2025’s draft was finalized on January 13, bringing together international stars and local talents. A strong lineup has been built by each franchise, ensuring an exciting tournament for cricket fans.
In addition to Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Multan Sultans, and Quetta Gladiators, all six teams have announced their squads. With a balanced mix of experienced players and young talent, these teams are expected to deliver high-intensity cricket throughout the season. Those who are looking forward to the PSL 2025 can now anticipate thrilling matches.
PSL 2025 Squad: Player List of All Teams
Teams for the upcoming PSL season are gradually revealing their lineups as the season approaches. Recently, all teams released a complete roster of local players, categorized according to their respective positions. The players are now officially part of the team, reinforcing the core strength of the team.
Since many of the retained players have consistently delivered for their teams over the years, it should come as no surprise that many of the retained players are proven matchwinners.
In the meantime, please find below a list of the local players confirmed by the teams. We will provide further updates as soon as the squads are finalized and new players are signed. Be sure to stay tuned.
Local Players and Renewal Category Announced
PCB has announced local player category renewals for PSL 2025 Squad, categorized into five tiers:
- Platinum: The highest-paid players, including international stars and top local players.
- Diamond: Players with significant experience who are of high value.
- Gold: Players with consistent performance.
- Silver: Players who are emerging and showing promise.
- Emerging: Players younger than 23 years old.
- Supplementary: Players who may be called upon as needed during a tournament.
There are only 13 players who have earned the highest salaries from their respective teams in the Platinum category.
In the Diamond and Silver categories, 16 players are listed, while 30 players are listed in the Gold category. In future PSL seasons, the Emerging category will provide young players with opportunities to showcase their skills and climb up the tiers.
There has been no announcement regarding the foreign players so far. During the PSL 10 draft, foreign players are expected to be announced shortly. PSL will draft the remaining players after the local player squads for all teams have been announced.
David Warner and Kane Williamson are likely to be directly signed by franchises for significant amounts outside the draft. In this year’s PSL, fans can’t wait to see which players will join which teams and in which categories.
